Privacy Policy
Ritual Row (“we”) runs https://ritualrow.co. This page is the privacy policy. Store terms (final sale, shipping, defects) live with it on Terms & Privacy.
What we collect
We collect information you give us, and a little the site records on its own so the shop and the boards work.
- Account name, email, profile text, and a portrait if you upload one.
- Comments, profile-wall notes, and Board posts, plus the IP address on a comment so we can spot spam.
- Images you upload (Ritual Paint posts, Board attachments, profile portraits) and Fridge / Ritual Submission text tied to your account.
- Shop details needed to take payment and ship: name, address, email, and what you ordered. We do not store your full card number.
- If you sign in with Google, Google sends us the account you pick (name, email, and the Google ID used by Nextend Social Login) so we can open or match your Ritual Row account.
- The MicroShop drop list stores the email you type into that form, on this site, until you ask us to remove it.
Payments and fulfillment
Checkout uses Stripe. Card data goes to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. The Donate button is a Stripe donation page, not a Ritual Row membership.
Most apparel is printed on demand by Printify. Printify receives the order details it needs to print and ship (what you bought, size, and the ship-to address). There is also a backup storefront link to our Printify shop.
Store terms for returns, damaged goods, and shipping are on the Terms & Privacy page. Damaged print-on-demand orders: email sniglebits@ritualrow.co within 14 days with a photo.
Cookies
- Login sets a temporary cookie to check the browser, then cookies that remember your login (about 2 days) and screen choices (about 1 year).
- WooCommerce sets cookies so the cart survives a refresh.
- If you comment, you can opt in to saving your name and email in cookies for a year.
AI
We do not send your account, orders, comments, uploads, or messages to a generative AI provider. Nothing in the shop, the Board, Paint, or the Fridge calls a model with your content.
Stranger Chat in the playground is a script that runs in your browser. Replies are written on your device. Those messages are not sent to Ritual Row and not sent to a model company. The camera preview stays in the browser.
Who else receives data
These are the services the site actually uses. They can see the data described here (often including your IP address) when their file, player, or script loads.
- Stripe — payments and Donate.
- Printify — print-on-demand fulfillment.
- WooCommerce — cart, checkout, and order records stored on this site.
- Google Site Kit — a Google tag for analytics on shop, account, and other WordPress pages.
- Google — sign-in (Nextend Social Login) and Google Fonts on some pages.
- Font Awesome CDN — icon files on some pages.
- YouTube — thumbnail images and outbound links on video cards, and an embedded player (youtube-nocookie.com) on MicroHand video previews. An embed behaves like a visit to YouTube.
- Spotify — outbound listen links and cover images. Our server also asks Spotify for the public release list using our app credentials. That server call does not include your account.
- Hostinger — the host, including hCDN and LiteSpeed cache.
How long we keep it, and how you delete it
Comments can stay up until you or we remove them. Profile text stays until you edit it. Order records stay as long as tax and accounting rules require, even if you delete uploads.
You can delete your own stuff without emailing first:
- Portrait: edit your profile and check “Remove my portrait”, then save. The image file is deleted.
- Posted paintings: delete them from Ritual Art / My Art. That removes the Board topic and the image file (including a WebP sibling when we made one).
- Everything uploaded for this account: on your profile or My Account, use “Delete my uploads”. That deletes your portrait, Fridge / Ritual Submission rows tied to the account, Board image files on your posts, and Ritual Art topics that are yours (including anonymous Paint posts we still have marked as yours). Board text stays; the pictures on it are removed. The shared live Paint canvas is not an account upload — undo removes a stroke from that browser session.
- A full account erase (the WordPress user, not just the files) is a request to RitualRow.Co@gmail.com. The same file deletion runs when the site owner processes an erase request in Tools → Erase Personal Data.
Guest Fridge notes have no account, so we cannot match them to you from the site. Email RitualRow.Co@gmail.com and quote the note. The same address removes a Board instant message (those notes have no account either).
Renewals
Shop checkout is a one-time charge. Ritual Row does not sell an auto-renewing membership, and the current catalog has no subscription product. Placing an order does not start a renewal. Donate on Stripe is a donation, not a membership.
There is nothing paid to cancel. Signing up is the login page (Google or email). Deleting uploads is a checkbox on the profile you already use. To close the whole account, email RitualRow.Co@gmail.com — same inbox as the rest of support, no extra queue.
If we ever sell something that renews, checkout will show the price and the period before you pay, and you will be able to cancel from My Account after signing in.
